ANTON HILL

I am Anton Hill, a licensed international wilderness guide born, raised, living and working in Finland.
Owner and the main guide of Anton Hill Adventures.
I arrange, design and lead trips through all the seasons in Finland. As a guide I always try to find the most authentic way to experience the nature around you. I am passionate about my work and love of nature, culture, history and traditions which I pass on to my customers.

I cooperate with different companies all over Finland during the summers and winters. I currently live in Kouvola. I do route planning, team management, hiking/canoeing/skiing/snowshoeing trips and other nature adventures, in addition to consulting and other contract work for different companies and organizations.

ROWAN NEWMAN

As an experienced expedition leader and secondary school geography teacher I know the power of experiences abroad in the development and growth of young people. Adapting to environments outside the usual, working as part of a team and being responsible for oneself for a sustained period can provide young people with a sense of pride and self belief.

With 20 years experience of taking young people to environments all over the world. The expeditions have involved a mix of humanitarian and community based projects, environmental projects and wilderness expeditions.

I believe my experience of teaching and leading both in and outside of the classroom has provided me with an ability to motivate and challenge young people to get the best out of themselves and reflect on their experiences providing new perspectives and understanding of both themselves and the world around them.
